Light a Lantern

Light A Lantern

The London 2012 Paralympic Torch Relay began on Friday 24 August with the lighting of England’s flame. The UK’s other capital cities – Greater Belfast, Cardiff and Edinburgh – then lit their flames over the weekend. The flames travelled to Stoke Mandeville (home of the Paralympic Movement) and joined together to create the Paralympic Flame before making the journey to the Paralympic Opening Ceremony on 29 August.

You helped us light the way to the Paralympic Games by making your own lanterns and getting your friends and family together.
