Highlights
Thailand first participated at the Paralympic Games in 1984 in Stoke Mandeville and New York with athletes competing in athletics, lawn bowls and swimming. Their first medallist was Sakul KUMAM, who won silver in the javelin in 1988. They did not win their first gold medal until 2000. Thailand have an all-time medal count of 43.
