From 1972 to 1992 Slovakia competed as Czechoslovakia. They have participated as Slovakia in every Games since. Table tennis was their most successful sport at the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games, where they won four medals: one gold, two silver and one bronze. Their other two medals came in shooting and cycling road.
