Highlights
In 1972, Romania made their Paralympic Games debut in Heidelberg, where Alex PEER competed in table tennis. Romania did not return to the Games until 1996 when Aurel BERBEC competed in powerlifting. In five Games, Romania have only ever captured one medal - a cycling silver in 2008 by Eduard NOVAK.
