Highlights

Qatar made their Paralympic Games debut at the Paralympic Games of 1996 in Atlanta with just one athlete competing in powerlifting (Salah AL MULLA). Their male-only teams have only ever competed in athletics field events or powerlifting. Their best finish was in 2004 when Nasser AL SAHOTI placed fifth in the men's javelin.
