Highlights
Morocco made their Paralympic Games debut in 1988 in Seoul, where they were represented by an all-male team in athletics, swimming and wheelchair basketball. Abdeljalal BIARE won his country's sole medal in 1988 (400m bronze). Morocco have won six gold medals, all of which were captured in 2004 and 2008. Sanaa BENHAMA is Morocco's first female Paralympic champion and their most successful Paralympian, winning three gold medals in the 100m, 200m and 400m.
