Highlights
Libya first competed with four athletes in powerlifting at the Paralympic Games in 1996 in Atlanta as the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya. Their only medal was won by Abdelrahim HAMED in 2000 when he took bronze in men's +100kg powerlifting.
