Highlights
Kuwait made their debut at the Paralympic Games in 1980 in Arnhem, with a delegation in athletics.
Of their 49 Paralympic medals, the first was won in 1980 by their most successful Paralympian, Adelah AL-ROMI, who took gold on the track in the women's 60m and 200m. She went on to win gold in discus in 1984, adding two more gold medals in javelin and shot put in 1988, and discus silver in 1992.
