Highlights

Hong Kong China first competed in the Paralympic Games in 1972 in Heidelberg, and have taken part in every Games since.

They have won a total of 108 medals, taking their first gold medal in 1984 in the women's 4x400m relay on the track.

In 1992, all three of their gold medals came from table tennis, while their 1996 gold medals came from athletics (men's 4x100m relay) and men's wheelchair fencing.

Hong Kong China's most successful competitors, with five gold medals each, are YU Chui Yee, CHAN Yui Chong and FUNG Ying Ki, all in wheelchair fencing.
