Highlights

Following independence from Yugoslavia in 1991, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia made their Paralympic Games debut in 1996 in Atlanta, with shooter Branimir JOVANOSVKI.

Since then, only two more athletes have represented the nation at the Games, all in shooting - their first and only medallist Vanco KARANFILOV (2004 men's air pistol silver), and Olivera NAKOVSKA (2004-2008).
