Highlights
Track and field athlete Rodolfo del ROSARIO was the Dominican Republic's sole representative at the country's Paralympic debut in 1992 in Barcelona. They have competed in every Paralympic Games since their debut, except 2000. Their first and only medal was the gold won by Robert JIMENEZ in the men's 200m at the 1996 Paralympic Games in Atlanta, where he also set a world record of 22.37 seconds in the heats.
