Cuba first competed at the Paralympic Games in 1992 and have won 22 gold, 13 silver, and 18 bronze medals. Of their 53 medals, 46 have been won in athletics, six in judo and one in swimming. In athletics, 16 of the 46 medals have come in the 100m (five), 200m (five) and 400m (six).
