Highlights
Following the country's independence from Yugoslavia, Croatia made their Paralympic Games debut in Barcelona in 1992, when they sent a team of six athletes to compete in swimming, shooting and athletics. Their first medal was won in 1992 by javelin thrower Milka MILINKOVIC who took bronze, the country's only medal in Barcelona. Their all-time medal count stands at nine (three gold, one silver, five bronze) all won in athletics (six medals) and swimming (three medals).
