Belgium have attended every Paralympic Games since Rome in 1960. Their best results came in 1984, when they finished 12th on the medal table, with their largest medal count ever (58 in total, of which 22 were gold). In contrast, in 2008 Belgium won one bronze medal, placing them 69th on the medal table.
