Highlights
Argentina participated in the first official Paralympic Games in 1960 in Rome and have taken part in every Games since. With a medal tally of 146 (30 gold, 59 silver, 57 bronze), Argentina rank 31st on the all-time medal table. However, they have not won a Paralympic gold medal since 1996, when Suarez NESTOR won the men's 100m sprint and swimmer Betiana BASUALDO won the women's 100m freestyle.
