Lyn Lepore took home a full set of medals from the Sydney 2000 Games, proving herself to be among the top Paralympic cyclists across both Road and Track disciplines.

At her home Games, she won a silver medal in the women’s 1km Time Trial Tandem open event, before clinching a bronze medal in the Individual Pursuit Tandem open event.

Alongside these triumphs on the Track, Lepore also won the Tandem open event in the Road Cycling discipline, completing an impressive medal haul at a single Games, all shared with her tandem partner Lynette Nixon.

In 2001 she was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for her service to sport as a gold medallist at the Sydney 2000 Paralympic Games.
