Canadian Paul Tingley has won two Sailing medals at the Paralympic Games.
His first taste of Paralympic Games glory came at the inaugural Sydney 2000 Games, winning a bronze medal as part of the Canadian Sonar team alongside David Williams and Brian MacDonald.
Although a place on the medal podium eluded him at Athens 2004, Tingley returned at Beijing 2008 and took the gold medal in the 2.4 Metre class. In winning the event, and defeating Damien Seguin and John Ruf into second and third positions respectively, Tingley cemented his status as one of the highest-achieving Paralympic Games Sailing athletes.
