Pal Szekeres has won medals in both the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
His journey to the top started back in 1988, when he won bronze at the Olympic Games in Seoul in the Team Foil event.
In 1991 he was injured in an accident, suffering serious spinal damage, but recovered to win gold at the Wheelchair Fencing Championships that same year.
Barcelona 1992 saw Szekeres clinch the Paralympic gold medal in the Individual Foil, before he went one better at Atlanta 1996 and picked up two golds.
Szekeres then won Individual bronze medals at three successive Paralympic Games, including a place on the podium on his 40th birthday at Athens 2004.
