Bestselling pop sensation Rachel Stevens will perform live at London 2012's 'decision day' event Thank You London, Thank You UK in Trafalgar Square on 6 July.
Rachel will be joined by former Spice Girl Melanie C, who has sold more than 3 million solo albums and is one of the most successful British female artists of the last ten years.
Rachel Stevens said: "I'm delighted to be performing in Trafalgar Square on July 6 to support London's Olympic Bid on such an important day. It would be fantastic for this country if the Games were held here."
Rachel and Melanie's performances will be a highlight of the event, which runs from 12-2pm, which also includes Mahogany Carnival Group, Indian drummers the Dhol Academy, and Heather Small singing Bid anthem Proud, backed by community choirs. The event will be hosted by Capital FM presenters Margherita Taylor and Katy Hill.
