London 2012 hosts hotel accommodation seminar

London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games

The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) is holding a seminar for hoteliers and accommodation providers on Thursday 24 April to discuss how hosting an Olympic Games and Paralympic Games will impact on London and the UK, and how they can benefit from planning in the run-up to the event.

The seminar runs from 12.15pm to 4.30pm at the Lecture Theatre G16, Sir Alexander Fleming Building, Imperial College London, Imperial College Road, South Kensington, SW7 2AZ.

Agenda items include an overview of London 2012’s plans from LOCOG Chief Executive Paul Deighton, hotel accommodation provision from Head of Accommodation Donna Taylor, the Games experience from an athlete’s perspective from Olympic gold medallist Jonathan Edwards, a presentation on rate data collection, and speakers from an Olympic sponsor, a previous Games Host City, and Visit London.
