Shortlist announced for London 2012 information systems tender

London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games

The London Organising Committee for the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games has shortlisted four companies in the tender process to appoint a 'back office' information partner. The successful partner will run the back office technology for the London 2012 Organising Committee.

The London Games Organising Committee received a number of high quality responses to a pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) issued on 11 September 2006. These responses were reviewed on 21 September 2006 and the shortlist selected.

The four shortlisted companies are:

  • Accenture;
  • BT Global Services;
  • IBM;
  • Logica CMG.
A preferred supplier will be selected in October 2006, and a formal appointment will be made in November 2006.
