CLM enters into Delivery Partner contract with ODA

CLM (the consortium made up of CH2M HILL, Laing O'Rourke and Mace) today entered into the Delivery Partner contract with the Olympic Delivery Authority. This follows the ten day Alcatel standstill period after the announcement of CLM as preferred bidder on 30th August 2006.

David Higgins, ODA Chief Executive said: "The appointment of CLM as Delivery Partner puts in place another key building block for the Olympic and Paralympic project. This follows the announcement of the final site map and the delivery timetable for the Olympic Park earlier this summer.

"We will now work with CLM to integrate our teams, draw up task lists and set Key Performance Indicators. I have no doubt that this will be a successful partnership that will help deliver an inspirational Games, and also lasting regeneration benefits for East London for decades to come."

Ron Brooks CLM Chief Executive said: "Today CLM formally begins work with the ODA team on this great project. It is an enormous challenge but also a fantastic opportunity. We have a group of committed and highly motivated people in place who will get down to work immediately.

"A huge amount has been achieved already in building the foundations for a successful Olympic and Paralympic Games and legacy. Sound planning and timely decision making will continue to be the hallmarks of this project as we move to the next phase of infrastructure and venue design. We look forward to working with the ODA, the London 2012 Organising Committee, other stakeholders and the local communities in the five Boroughs to deliver in partnership in the years to come."
