The 2012 Roadshow travelling the country from 6 to 27 July to spread the inspirational message of the Olympic Games, has now notched up over 2,700 miles after touring Scotland on 22 and 23 July.
The 'Be Part of 2012 Roadshow' bus, unveiled in Trafalgar Square on 6 July, stopped in Edinburgh, Perth, Aberdeen, Stirling, Glasgow city centre and Hampden Park.
After 14 days of travelling the 2012 Roadshow bus has now made 51 of its 65 scheduled stops in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Sir Keith Mills, Deputy Chairman of the London organising committee, said:
"We have been out there telling people across Scotland how they can benefit from 2012 in so many different ways whether as companies winning contracts, towns or cities hosting pre-Games events or individuals volunteering, watching or even competing.
"It's great to see that Scotland is committed to sport in so many ways, from innovative school programmes to bidding for major events like the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
"We found real enthusiasm for 2012 during our time in Scotland and we are committed to seeing real benefits for every part of the UK from the London Games."
Everywhere it goes the 2012 Roadshow brings senior figures from London 2012, the Government and sport to talk about progress made in the last year, future plans and to explain how everybody can be part of 2012.
