The men’s preliminary competition begins on 29 July with reigning Olympic champions Hungary taking on current European champions Serbia. Great Britain’s men also play on the first day of competition against Romania at the Water Polo Arena

In the women’s competition, Olympic silver medallists USA take on Hungary in the first match on 30 July, with Great Britain in action on the same day against Russia.
The women’s gold medal match takes place on 9 August with the men’s on 12 August, the final day of the Olympic Games. See full details of the women's competition.
London 2012 Organising Committee Director of Sport Debbie Jevans said: 'After a great test event earlier in the year, we are looking forward to welcoming spectators to this fantastic venue, and witnessing what will undoubtedly be an exciting Water Polo competition'.
The draw for the Water Polo competition was confirmed in May, with 12 teams competing in the men's event and eight teams in the women's.
