A total of 950 competitors will take part in 34 different events, with 32 taking place in the iconic Aquatics Centre, and two Marathon Swimming events taking place in Hyde Park
All entries for Swimming will be confirmed following the sport entries deadline on 9 July 2012.

Swimming was one of the highlights of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Twenty-one world records were broken, and Michael Phelps set the world record for the number of medals won at a single Olympic Games.
The London 2012 Swimming competition promises to be just as exciting, with a number of athletes returning to defend their records.
