Saudia Arabia set early Jumping pace

After yesterday's first Individual Jumping qualifying event, the action went up a notch in pursuit of team and individual medals on Day 9.

Individually, the top 35 riders by tomorrow evening will progress into Wednesday's final, when the slate is wiped clean and everyone starts on nil faults.

And in the Team competition, Saudi Arabia set the early pace, with Great Britain in second place on a score of four faults.

In today's afternoon session, team medal contenders such as the Netherlands, Germany, France, Sweden and the USA are all hoping to press their claims.
