Great Britain's Lutalo Muhammad came through the repechage to take bronze.
Muhammad defeated Arman Yeremyan of Armenia 9-3, while Italy's Mauro Sarmiento added a bronze medal to the silver he won in Beijing four years ago by defeating Nesar Ahmad Bahawi of Afghanistan 4-0.
