Manu Ginobili of Argentina shakes hands with members of Tunisia after defeating them 92-69 during the men's Basketball Preliminary Round match on Day 6.

Three-time NBA champion Ginobili top-scored with 24 points but it was his coolness in a crisis that the 2004 Olympic champions were most indebted to after a difficult opening period.

Tunisia, the second-lowest ranked nation at the Games, had threatened a major upset when they raced into a 28-14 lead after the first quarter.

But any potential danger was almost immediately averted as Ginobili took control of the game, and Argentina ran out comfortable winners in the end.
