124 inspirational Torchbearers will carry the Flame through the following communities: Aberdeen, Stonehaven, Marykirk, Hillside, Montrose, Brechin, Forfar, Meigle, Coupar Angus, Woodside, Burrelton, Balbeggie, Scone, Perth, Abernethy, Newburgh, Cupar, Dairsie, Guardbridge, Leuchers and Dundee.
The first Torchbearer of the day will be Lindsay Rennie, 46, from Arborath. She works as a wells services supervisor with BP North Sea and has swum across the River Tay on three separate occasions to raise money for charity.
Torchbearer Louise Fox, 16, from Dundee, will take part in a photo opportunity at Scone Palace. Louise currently swims for her club at U15s, U18s and women's teams as well as playing for the super-club for Scotland, Caledonia, in the English leagues.
Mark Szaranek, 16, from Fife will take part in a photo opportunity at the Desperate Dan statue in Dundee. Mark has attained almost every accolade possible in the few years he has been swimming competitively and he hopes to one day represent Team GB at the Olympics.
The evening celebration will take place in Dundee's Baxter Park and will feature a variety of entertainment, including music from Scottish singer Emeli Sandé, a dance troupe who will provide a unique fusion of street performance, theatre and sport, and dance act Twist and Pulse.
Towards the end of the two-hour show, the last Torchbearer of the day – Kian Steel – will light a celebration cauldron on stage at the event which will enable the Olympic Flame to be seen by the audience.
