The Unlimited programme
Unlimited is a ground-breaking programme that celebrates arts and culture by disabled and deaf artists.

A series of major commissions, Unlimited is the UK’s largest programme celebrating arts, culture and sport by deaf and disabled people.

Unlimited encourages collaborations and partnerships between disability arts organisations, disabled artists, producers, and mainstream organisations, to celebrate the inspiration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games through the creation of original and exciting works. Twenty-nine Unlimited commissions have been awarded to events across the UK. Many will be showcased at the Southbank Centre during the Paralympic Games.

Following a commitment from the British Council of more than £500,000, Unlimited International also enables disabled and deaf artists from around the world to collaborate with one another and produce work across all art forms to celebrate London 2012. Countries engaged with the programme through the Unlimited Commissions strand include Brazil, China, Colombia, Croatia, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Venezuela.
