Marking the anniversary of winning the 2012 bid in Trafalgar Square, Tony Blair with Sebastian Coe and children who went to SIngaporeLeading figures involved in planning for the Games were also present, including London 2012 Chair Sebastian Coe, Olympics Minister Tessa Jowell and Mayor of London Ken Livingstone.
Tony Blair said: "We are pressing ahead with plans to ensure the state-of-the-art venues can be used for decades to come, for thousands of new homes including transforming the Olympic Village into affordable housing and for an injection of new jobs in areas with high unemployment rates."
A specially-branded London 2012 Roadshow bus was unveiled, setting off on its journey to more than 50 locations across the UK.
The roadshow will inform local people about preparations for 2012, what the Games can mean for them and how they can get involved.
