Tickets are priced from £5–£15 and will be available exclusively from Ticketmaster. As a proud sponsor of London 2012, Visa (debit, credit, prepaid) is the only card accepted for online ticket sales for this London Prepares series event.
The Visa International Invitational Hockey Tournament, taking place from 2–6 May, will feature some of the world’s best hockey teams including Australia, the world’s top ranked men’s team; Argentina, the current women’s world champions; and both Great Britain’s men’s and women’s teams. The tournament will play a crucial part in testing the Riverbank Arena.
At the Visa Water Polo International, taking place in the newly built Water Polo Arena, the Great Britain women’s team will line up alongside teams from Australia, USA and Hungary, testing the venue for the very first time.
Debbie Jevans, London 2012 Director of Sport, said: ‘As with all our test events, tickets sold quickly for Hockey and Water Polo when they went on sale last month. We have worked hard to be able to offer more tickets to fans to enable them to watch the forthcoming test events and we are delighted that we have been able to achieve this.
‘Spectators play a key role in helping us test our operations as we continue to look at and test crowd flows as well as athlete movements, our workforce and of course the field of play.’
