IOC announces medal design competition for Innsbruck 2012 Youth Olympic Games

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced a medal design competition for the Innsbruck 2012 Winter Youth Olympic Games.

Designs can be submitted from now until 29 April. There will then be a public online vote from 4 May to 30 June to decide the top 10, before an IOC jury decides the ultimate winner.

The winning designer will receive a VIP trip to Innsbruck 2012 and attend the Opening Ceremony and sport events. They will also receive a replica gold medal of their design.
