Craig Reedie elected to IOC Executive Board

Craig Reedie has been elected to the International Olympic Committee Executive Board

He joins John Coates, President of the Australian National Olympic Committee, as a new appointee.

Sir Craig has been a member of the IOC since 1994. He is also a director of the British Olympic Association.

Seb Coe, Chair of the London 2012 Organising Committee, said: 'It is great news for the Olympic movement and London 2012 that Sir Craig Reedie’s wealth of sports experience will benefit the IOC Executive Board.'

Jacques Rogge was also re-elected as the President of the IOC today.
