Craig Reedie has been elected to the International Olympic Committee Executive BoardHe joins John Coates, President of the Australian National Olympic Committee, as a new appointee.
Sir Craig has been a member of the IOC since 1994. He is also a director of the British Olympic Association.
Seb Coe, Chair of the London 2012 Organising Committee, said: 'It is great news for the Olympic movement and London 2012 that Sir Craig Reedie’s wealth of sports experience will benefit the IOC Executive Board.'
Jacques Rogge was also re-elected as the President of the IOC today.
