Members of the public tour the Olympic Park at Open House 2008This year the ODA has space for 4,000 people from all over London to come on a bus tour of the Olympic Park on the 19 or 20 September 2009 to see the latest progress on site. More than 30,000 people have already been around the Olympic Park since the project began.
Construction is well underway on site with the external structure of the Olympic Stadium complete, the roof of the Aquatics Centre over halfway finished and building work also progressing on the other main venues.
Open House will offer visitors an opportunity to hear first-hand from people working on the project, view films and venue models as part of an exhibition. Previously 3,000 people visited the Park during Open House in 2008 and 2,000 in 2007.
These tours are now full booked.
