Road management contract awarded

This will help to reduce congestion and enable construction traffic to move safely and efficiently around the Park as the venues and infrastructure for the Games are built.

Fitzpatrick Contractors Ltd won the three-year contract partly due to its strong commitment to health and safety and sustainability. During the competitive bidding process they also offered a Geographical Information System (GIS)-linked database to monitor traffic in the Park and on the approach roads.
