Table tennis is one of the sports at the UK School GamesThis year the Games feature Athletics, Badminton, Fencing, Gymnastics, Judo, Swimming, Table Tennis and Volleyball, with disability events in Athletics, Swimming and Table Tennis.
The UK School Games were set up to encourage more young people to take part in sport and activity and showcase the best talent the UK has to offer.
Opening the Games yesterday, double Olympic champion Daley Thompson said: 'The event is a fantastic opportunity for some of the country's most talented sporting youngsters to develop.
'Interest in these competitors is only going to increase between now and the London Games and the experience of competing this week will undoubtedly help them further their ambitions.'
