An artist's impression of the Olympic Park after 2012Over 70 design practices registered their interest in their contract to regenerate the existing Greenway, which runs from Victoria Park to West Ham.
Up-and-coming practices were especially encouraged to bid for the contract for the work that is due to start later this year.
Alison Nimmo, ODA Director of Design and Regeneration said: "We have been extremely pleased with the level of interest for this important project, particularly from small and niche design practices.
"This is an important project to revitalise a vital link in the neglected public spaces in and around the Olympic Park area."
