The 15th Asian Games in DohaPaul Deighton, Chief Executive of the London 2012 Organising Committee, is one of a small party from the London Games team attending the event in Doha.
The Games are the biggest sporting event ever to take place in the Middle East.
They are scheduled to get underway later today.
Tickets for the opening ceremony, to be held in a 50,000-seater stadium, have sold out.
