The Duchess of Cornwall in Greenwich ParkHer Royal Highness toured the Park, viewing the areas which will be used for the Cross-country, Dressage and Show Jumping events.
During her visit the Duchess also presented a British Olympic Association Award to Zara Phillips, The Queen's grand-daughter, as Equestrian Olympic Athlete of the Year for 2006.
Seb Coe said: "We chose Greenwich Park as an Olympic and Paralympic venue because it is an iconic venue, visually stunning, and will bring equestrian sport to the city."
