Olympic Rowing Gold medallist Ed Coode and Jude Kelly, Chair of the 2012 Culture, Ceremonies and Education Advisory Committee, watched athletes competing in the City of Bath Triathlon.
They then toured the outstanding sports facilities at the University of Bath, part of the English Institute of Sport network.
Speaking at the event, Jude Kelly said: "There is an outstanding example in Bath of holistic education from the age of three through to elite athlete level, which many other places could learn from."
The last of the five stops in the South West was in Bristol, where the Roadshow was welcomed into the centre of the city by a dance group before embarking on a tour of the educational exhiibitions in Explore @ Bristol.
