Mountain biker shows off his skills at Weald Country Park during the 2012 RoadshowThe Roadshow group was taken on a tour of the planned course and then watched local youngsters learning valuable skills in a cycling safety session.
Later in the day the Roadshow bus stopped off at Herts Young Mariners in Broxbourne, close to where the Slalom Canoeing course will be constructed.
Olympic medallist Helen Reeves led a coaching class at the popular youth Canoeing facility.
Seb Coe said: "By locating Mountain Biking and Slalom Canoeing in the East of England we are spreading the benefits of the 2012 Ganes outside London.
"These facilities will create a valuable legacy for elite competition and community use."
The final stop of the day will be the magnificent gardens of Ely Cathedral for a reception for businesses in the region.
