The 2012 Roadshow makes five stops today, beginning in Milton Keynes and finishing on the south coast in Brighton.
Chief Executive of the Olympic Delivery Authority David Higgins and Chief Executive of the British Olympic Association Simon Clegg started the day with warm-up exercises at Midsummer Place in Milton Keynes, with local school children and several talented young athletes from the area.
Next stop was the construction site of Milton Keynes Stadium, on schedule for completion in the next few months.
David Higgins addressed an audience of businesses from across the region, highlighting the benefits the Games will bring to the UK.
Higgins said: "We are determined to ensure that businesses across the UK have a fair chance to bid for and win work stemming from London 2012.
"The opportunities will not only be contracts directly with London 2012 but also right along the supply chain."
In the afternoon the Roadshow called in at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, where the Paralympic Movement began in 1948.
They met athletes from numerous countries competing in the 2nd European Archery Grand Prix for disabled Archers.
From there it was on to Eton College Rowing Centre, which is the world-class venue that will host Rowing and Flatwater Canoeing in 2012.
Last stop tonight is at the sea front in Brighton for a lively sports and cultural festival.
