Leader of the House of Commons Jack Straw, Olympics Minister Tessa Jowell and Chair of the London 2012 organising committee Sebastian Coe view the Olympic Park siteMr Straw, Chair of the Cabinet Committee overseeing the London 2012 Games, was accompanied by top London 2012 staff and Olympics Minister Tessa Jowell.
They discussed the implications for the Park of the recently announced new masterplan and the legacy plans that will bring long-term benefits to the area.
Straw said: "Having the Games is fantastic. It will be a chance to show the world how great this city is."
Straw's committee brings together Ministers across government to ensure the benefits of hosting the Games are maximised and costs are controlled.
