The companies shortlisted to deliver two packages of structures and bridges for the Olympic Park have been announced.

  • Costain
  • Edmund Nuttall
  • John Sisk & Son (Holdings)
  • Lagan Construction
  • Norwest Holst

The second is to build the central pedestrian concourse in the Park. It will span approximately 30m over the River Lea between the Olympic Stadium and the Aquatics Centre. During the Games there will be one large bridge; after the Games the central section will be taken away to leave two smaller footbridges. The shortlisted teams are:

  • Carillion Construction

The structures, roads and bridges project was split into a number of contract packages - the first four packages of work were awarded at the start of 2008.
