Top sports stars including Dame Kelly Holmes have been named as part of a new 'London 2012 Ambassadors' programme launched today by BT.
The ambassadors aim to inspire BT employees and millions of customers to become volunteers, coaches and mentors for young athletes around the UK who aim to compete in the London 2012 Games.
Scottish Track Cyclist Chris Hoy, diver Tom Daley, Wheelchair Basketball star Ade Adepitan and Frances Nicholls - a BT employee hoping to compete with Team GB women's Rowing in 2012 - are all part of the team.
BT have also announced it is a founding partner of the Dame Kelly Holmes Legacy Trust, which aims to give young athletes the life skills they need to develop and perform at the top of their ability.
