Paralympics GB are looking for top athletes with the potential of competing at the Vancouver 2010 and London 2012 Games.
A special 'talent identification' day being held on 12 April aims to find athletes to 'fast track' into sport. It is also aimed at athletes who might want to transfer from one sport to another.
Trials will be held in sports including Athletics, Powerlifting, Judo and Rowing for athletes from varying disability groups. Athletes aged 15-35 will be selected according to their ability and determination to succeed. Brunel University in London is hosting the event.
Talent Pathways Officer at ParalympicsGB, Tabo Huntley said: 'This is a fantastic opportunity for us to identify talent to complement our existing group of talented sportsmen and women.
'With just over four years until the London 2012 Paralympic Games and around two years until the Vancouver Winter Paralympics in 2010 we still have time to identify exceptionally talented athletes who can be fast-tracked to success in a number of sports.
'It doesn’t matter if you’ve never played these sports before we are looking for general sporting ability and a desire to win.'
