The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will announce the Host City for the first Youth Olympic Games by webcast.
IOC President will make the announcement on the IOC website at 11.00am, this Thursday, 21 February. The 2010 Games will take place in either Moscow or Singapore - the finalists from an initial nine candidate cities.
The Youth Olympic Games will bring together the world's best young athletes - aged 14-18 - for a festival of both sport and culture. Participants will also run educational programmes on the Olympic values and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
