Chair of the London 2012 Organisnig Committee Sebastian Coe opened a new community sports facility during a visit to the West Midlands yesterday.
Seb opened the athletics track at Aldersley Leisure Village in Wolverhampton, a multi-sport venue developed from the original Aldersley Stadium.
In a packed day, Seb also saw sports demonstrations from children in a local school and adressed a conference on how to increase physical activity in the region.
He visited Telford College of Arts and Technology, at the heart of the Telford Sport Learning and Enterprise Community, which is using the power of sport to improve the lives of local people.
