Chair of the London 2012 Organising Committee Sebastian Coe has written to the England Rugby team wishing them luck ahead of the World Cup Final in France tomorrow.
The letter addressed to head coach Brian Ashton and the team reads:
Dear Brian and the team,
I am writing to wish you and the squad the very best of luck for the match on Saturday. You have shown fantastic grit and focus to reach the final. As we all know with the London 2012 project, sport has the ability to bring people together. My whole team at 2012, even the Scots amongst them, wish you the very best of luck. Enjoy making a bit more history.
